Happiness Zidana Banda is a seasoned development professional with over 12 years of experience in program design and project management. As a Projects Manager at OSSEDI Malawi, she leads complex, social development initiatives that are strategically designed to create lasting impact.

Happiness specializes in transforming community needs into high-impact, funded programs. Her expertise spans the entire project lifecycle, with a particular focus on securing substantial grants, implementing rigorous monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks, and nurturing strategic partnerships.

Happiness holds an MBA in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from the University of Malawi. She is currently completing a Master of Science in Gender and Development at Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR). By combining a data-centric methodology with a passion for gender equity, Happiness ensures that OSSEDI’s initiatives remain inclusive, evidence-based, and empowering for women and marginalized populations.
