Asimenye Chihuri

Acting Finance and Operations Manager

Asimenye Chihuri is the Acting Finance and Operations Manager for OSSEDI Malawi, responsible for the strategic direction of the organization's financial and operational functions. She is a results-oriented finance professional with deep experience in financial management, donor compliance, internal controls, and audit support.

In her current capacity, Asimenye oversees financial reporting, budget management, and operational logistics. She ensures adherence to strict internal policies and complex donor requirements across all programs. Prior to her managerial role, she worked as a Finance Officer within OSSEDI, managing the finances for a number of projects, which involved detailed expenditure tracking, reconciliations, and financial documentation.

Asimenye holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Auditing and Information Systems from the Malawi College of Accountancy and a Diploma in Business Management Studies from Exploits University. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Malawi
